  1. I concur with points 2 and 4, but not with 1 and 3. I doubt very much the majority of rapists are misogynists, and the "institution" sure as hell does not tolerate rape. Look at statutory rape, child molestation, and basically any sexual assault charge. They're some of the most life ruining crimes, with some of the most life ruining penalties. If you commit any one of those acts, you go to prison, and are put on a registry. When you get out, you will live with your name on that list for the rest of your life. Every town you move into, you are forced by law to go to your neighbors and identify yourself for what you've done, or go back to prison. Murderers don't put up with that. As for point 1, I think that is a HUGE generalization. A vast majority of rapes fall into the child molestation group, and the vast majority of those rapes are commited by men, to younger men. You can't blame misogyny for that. There are even rapes commited by women towards other women, towards younger men, etc. How can those be the fault of "misogyny?" It is easy to say "men did it" and a lot harder to just admit we are a horribly flawed species, with a lot of violent issues to work out.
