Example: If I were to go to that bus driver dressed in some jeans and a wrinkly t-shirt, unshaven with messy hair, and ask for a ride, he'd think I was a vagrant and shoo me away. If I were to go up to him on a later date in a nice button down shirt, tie, blazer, and slacks, he'd think "sure, he is probably just on his way to an interview." This isn't a matter of sexy women getting favor, its a matter of sharp looking people getting favor. People trust and like attractive people more than plain or ugly ones.
