I don't agree with the third link, "the 'art' of privilege." The idea that every month but February is white history month is as absurd and racist as the idea that every month but March is male's history is sexist and ignorant. Those month's aren't concessions or war-time reparations, they're monuments to achievements made by African-Americans and Women respectively. The reason those two groups have history months of their own is because of the unbelievably overwhelming obstacles they had to overcome to earn the rights that should have been theirs from the start. Why is there no white history month or male history month? Because there is no dispute that white males have dominated the planet for the majority of modern-man's existence (discounting Africa being the cradle of civilization and the domination of the world by the middle east/Asia). I've always found the belief that those months are some sort of attack to be offensive. Do Veterans complain about the monuments to their works built on national soil? Do they assert that every day of the year besides Veteran's Day is a day of discrimination against them? Those months are monuments to the works of their respective groups that will last throughout the history of humanity so long as our nation wills it so. It isn't discrimination, its an honor, and one to be damn proud of. The work of those groups is growing ever closer and closer to being complete. The "dream" is almost reality, and the idea of attacking the very monuments they've earned with so much work is a step in the wrong direction, in my opinion.
